Screening Tests
Turn suspicion into data
Two routes: the comprehensive Numap assessment normed on Turkish samples for ages 4–10, or the free quick screeners on this page. Both flag risk; neither diagnoses.
Numap
Numap: comprehensive normed assessment
A 19-subtest numerical and cognitive battery for ages 4–10 (48–119 months). About 15 minutes, risk level against Turkish norms, family and school reports. Group screening dashboard for schools.
Quick screeners (on this site, free)
Runs in the browser, data stays on the device, instant report. Start with the grade-level screening or focus on a single skill.
- Age 6–11≈ 12 minFree
Grade-Level Quick Screening (Grades 1–5)
Four short subtests adapted to grade: symbolic comparison, number line, arithmetic fluency and clock reading. One report.
Start - Age 6+≈ 3 minFree
Symbolic Number Comparison
Pick the larger of two digits as fast as you can. Accuracy and response time are measured.
Start - Age 6+≈ 3 minFree
Number Line Estimation
Mark where a number sits on a 0–100 (or 0–1000) line. Percent absolute error (PAE) is computed.
Start - Age 5+≈ 3 minFree
Subitizing (Instant Quantity Perception)
Say how many dots flashed on screen. Quantities of 1–4 are expected to be known without counting.
Start - Age 7+≈ 2 minFree
Arithmetic Fluency (60 s)
Solve as many simple problems as you can in one minute. Correct count and error pattern are reported.
Start - Age 7+≈ 3 minFree
Clock Reading
Choose the time shown on an analogue clock: hours, halves, quarters and minutes.

How to read the results
- 01
One test is never enough
The Multiple Filter Model: teacher judgement + screening + pre-assessment + cognitive assessment. This page is the first filter.
- 02
Look for the pattern
A low score on one subtest means little on its own; a joint dip in comparison, number line and fluency is what stands out.
- 03
Bring the report
Take the printed report to the educational psychologist, child psychiatrist or special-education specialist.
- 04
What next?
If risk shows, follow the intervention pathway: Galaksay, DokunSay and teacher collaboration.
Are you an adult?
The comparison, number line and fluency screeners work for adults too. See our page on dyscalculia in adults.
